The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo introduced the Vivo Y54s in China in November 2021. The market is finally preparing to launch the device in India. According to a MySmartPrice report, industry sources have announced that Vivo is preparing to launch the V54 in India in the coming weeks. We expect the smartphone to be launched in late March or early April.

The Y54s has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with a notch for water drops, a 20: 9 aspect ratio and FullHD + resolution. The display is surrounded by thin edges that give the device a screen to body ratio of 89%. The device is powered by a 5G MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC connected to 6GB of RAM. Additional 2GB of virtual RAM can be borrowed from internal storage. The phone has 128 GB of internal memory.

For photos, the smartphone has a dual-camera setup at the rear, consisting of a 13MP main camera with an f / 2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera settings are optimized to offer features such as portrait mode, night mode, time-lapse, slow-motion video recording, and more.

The Y54s contains a large 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The device charges via the USB-C port and has a fingerprint sensor on the side and also supports AI Face Unlock. The Y54s runs on Android 11 based on OriginOS 1.0 and supports Bluetooth 5.1.
