Citroen India has officially announced that it will officially launch its highly anticipated Citroen C3 hatchback in India on July 20. The worldwide debut of the all-new Citroen C3 was made in September 2021. The Cube Program is the first of the company’s three C models. However, Citroen dealers have already started unofficially accepting pre-bookings. However, the official reservation of the new C3 hatchback will begin on July 1. There are also many customization options available in this car.
Engine & Power
The new C3 will be offered two petrol engine options – 1.2-liter natural gasoline and 1.2-liter turbo gasoline. The previous variant generated an output of 82 PS. It can generate 110 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque.
Design
Citroen C3 hatchback will get Citroen’s signature grille with chrome treatment which gets split headlamps at the front. It has double DRL, a dual-tone paint scheme, and a split LED headlamp cluster. The side profile gets multi-spoke alloys and large wheel arches, and it sports body-cladding with skid plates at the front and rear. The company will offer the new C3 in 4 monotones and two dual-tone colour options.
Transmission
The new Citroen C3 will initially offer two transmission options – a 5-speed manual with atmospheric fuel and a 6-speed manual with a supercharged petrol engine. The car could later get an automatic transmission, maybe a 7-speed dual-clutch. The new C3 hatchback is more powerful than the Renault Kiger and Tata Punch.
Dimensions
Speaking of the size of the new Citroen C3, its height will be 3.98 meters. This small car has a wheelbase of 2,540 mm. The luggage compartment has a volume of 315 litres. It has a ground clearance of 180 mm, considered good on Indian roads.
