ASUS announces BIOS support for AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D and other new CPUs

ASUS has announced BIOS support for the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D and other new CPUs. The wave of new Ryzen processors is here and ASUS is ready to support them all.

Support and updates that have prepared various motherboards for the new wave of AMD Ryzen 5000 and 4000 series processors. As an accompaniment to the new Ryzen 7 5800X3D, which has a dedicated 96 MB L3 cache, AMD has released AGESA version 1.2.0.6b to improve system performance.

Many ASUS 500, 400, A320 and X370 motherboards already have BIOS updates with this new AGESA build, and all remaining compatible models will receive the corresponding BIOS updates on March 25.

They also have AGESA version 1.2.0.6b. Download it from the ASUS Support website at https://www.asus.com/support. Previous-generation ASUS motherboards will receive support for these new processors, as shown in the table below.
